Evraz steel output falls 0.4% to 13.6 mln tns in 2021

MOSCOW, Jan 31 (PRIME) -- The steel output of U.K.-based mining giant Evraz, which operates mainly in Russia, fell 0.4% on the year to 13.569 million tonnes in 2021, the company said in a statement on Monday.

Sales of steel products dropped 4.5% to 12.469 million tonnes.

In October–December, the output went down 0.6% on the quarter to 3.384 million tonnes, and sales grew 7% to 3.188 million tonnes.
